in York County, Maine.

Fathers and sons, knowledge of land and beast, carnival workers
and strange stories, ox-pulling, country girls, beauty pageants,
dairy showing, a pig scramble and more! The fairgrounds are
a place where friendships and rivalries are renewed.

This feature-length ethnographic doc quietly reveals the
agricultural heritage of the region and opens our eyes
to a wholesome side of American culture:
as people of the earth.
